Wissenschaft als Kunst Paul K. Feyerabend und die Ästhetik der Erkenntnis Internationale Tagung zu Paul K. Feyerabend aus Anlass seines 100. Geburtstags am 19. – 21. April 2024 Am 13. Januar 2024 wäre Paul K. Feyerabend einhundert Jahre alt geworden. Dieses Datum nimmt das Kolleg Friedrich Nietzsche an der Klassik Stiftung Weimar zum Anlass, um an den aufregendsten Wissenschaftsphilosophen des 20. Jahrhunderts zu erinnern und nach der Aktualität seines Denkens zu fragen. Berühmt aber auch berüchtigt wurde Feyerabend aufgrund seiner Kritik des Methodenzwangs (1975) und durch seine Beiträge zu einer anarchistischen oder dadaistischen Erkenntnistheorie für freie Menschen. Seine Phrase „anything goes“ ist zu einem der erfolgreichsten, wenn auch meist missverstandenen Slogans geworden. Weniger bekannt ist, dass Feyerabend das Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs in einem Lazarett in Weimar erlebte und ein Semester an der Weimarer Musikakademie studierte.
